"First Comes Love"
November 2015, Meredith directed "First Comes Love". It was based on four ghost stories, and the idea was generated by co-creator/designer Ashley Rogers. With the ensemble of actors (all undergraduates at the University of Memphis), they created "First Comes Love" a 45 minute show that explores what haunts the ghosts on earth. The work is based on these ghost stories, but was completely devised and created by the ensemble. The entire production was a work in collaboration and discovery.
Themes: legends, ghosts, women, love, death See a clips from the show: |

"Jocasta Regina"
This work explored the Oedpius story from Jocasta's point of view. For a short works festival at Rhodes College's Squalid Theatre, called Oedipus '20, Meredith wrote and created "Jocasta Regina", an original piece that she devised with the ensemble. It was a twleve minute piece that used masks, non-linear storytelling, and movement to tell Jocasta's story of pain and loss.
